Ubik Systems supplies custom built effects, instruments and synthesizers to recording studios, universities and musicians.

Duplication and emulation: We can scratch build just about any analog instrument or effect that's been built, with an emphasis on classic synths, pedals and rack mount effects from the 60's, 70's and 80's. From the simplest distortion pedal to the most complex multi effect unit or modular synthesizer we strive to create acoustically accurate copies of whatever you are looking for.

Design services: Options include custom designed synthesizer modules and rack effects to suit your studio, just describe the sound or effect that you're trying to achieve and we can come up with an original solution. Interface customizing options may include different numbers of inputs or outputs, balanced line inputs or drivers, onboard modulation sources such as LFO's and envelope generators and changes in attenuation and filtering parameters to get the sound you are looking for.

Repair: We can repair and recondition classic synth's and effects, or even upgrade them with new components and custom circuit upgrades to unlock the hidden potential of your classic analog synth. Ubik Systems uses only the highest quality components for these jobs with an emphasis on matching all replacement parts as closely to the original as possible.

All work is accompanied by a 3 year warranty and on-site repair for the larger systems. Please note that all Purchase Orders will be filled within approximately three months of payment, these are hand made custom built instruments and the length of the production cycle reflects that.
